Petechiae is the medical name of red dots. Sometimes people observe red spots on their body.
These red spots look like a rash.They affect anyone regardless of age or gender. Red dots are results of lack of fats and water in the uppermost layer of the skin. Normally they are on the face and any area which is exposed to the sun. They are in the size of tiny pin head. They are normally not itchy or are flat. Causes of Red Dots on Skin
The red dots are results of acne. There are some causes of acne, some of them are a lack of water in the body, eating spicy food or unhealthy routine. So this acne turned into red dots. These red dots stays on the skin for sometimes then gradually disappears.
Boils are the skin infection which results in medium sizes swallow acne. These are filled with pus. They will also fade out after sometimes on their own. However one shouldn’t touch them to burst, brushing will cause a permanent mark.
Keratosis pilaris are the small and hard red bumps. They are results of the excess amount of protein present in the body. They appear on thighs or upper arms.
Heat rash or sunburn is one of the main cause of the appearance of red dots on the skin. One may feel itching in such rashes. It is due to closed pores which trapped sweat n them. These are due to hot weather and will disappear when body temperatures cooled down.
Birthmarks are sometimes inherited one. In most of the cases, they are not treatable. Whatever is the cause of this red spot, one wants to remove them on urgent basis. Ways to Remove Red Dots on Skin
1. Lemon Juice
Lemon contains acid.When it is applied to the affected place, it helps in balancing PH level of the body. Apply some lemon juice on a cotton ball and apply to the affected point. Let it be there for at least five minutes and then wash it with water. Repeat this two times in a day. Do not apply for more than five minutes in a single go.
2. Aleo Vera
Aleo Vera has antioxidants and healing ingredients. They ease skin irritation and provides fresh skin. Take aloe Vera gel and apply on spot and massage for a minute and then leave for 20 minutes, wash it afterward. Apply two times for best results.
3. Coconut Oil
Coconut fills the fat gap in the upper layer of the skin, thus provides fresh and hydrated skin. Apply few drops of coconut oil on red spot and let t be there for the whole night. Repeat this every night before going to bed for the hydrated and spotless skin. There are many other medicines in the market which will provide relief from red dots on skin. The best is prevention against them. However, it is recommended not to touch them or itch.
